Most people and all good organizations, baseball teams included, live by a set of values that guide their thoughts and actions, helping to establish a culture and a way of being. These are ours.
Fun. It’s a beautiful game and we should enjoy playing it. We aim to win but we won’t lose sight that this isn’t our day job.
Comradery. We will play as a team. We will pick each other up when we stumble. We will always cheer on our teammates.
Sportsmanship. We will respect each other, the umpires, and our opponents. We will tip our caps when the other team makes a great play and we will not argue with umpires. We will respect the game.
